The Dominican Republic Investment Single Window (DR-VUI) for its Spanish initials name was created by means of Decree Num- ber 626-12, on November 10th, 2012. It’s conceived as a unique point of presentation and services for all the necessary steps, in order to realize any kind of investment into the country; fully operating within the facilities of the Dominican Center for Export and Investment (CEI-RD); supervised by the National Pre- sidency Ministry.
The DR-VUI groups governmental services from multiple institutions, including: certifications, permis- sions, licenses, among many others. Its implementation seeks to provide effective services, that contribute to savings in time and costs in all investor’s placement; as well as, providing a reduction in the operative expenses of the asso- ciate entities.
