Dear Agents,
We are delighted to welcome you to our 2016 Luxury Specialist Conference in Washington, D.C. We are very pleased to be hosting approximately 200 agents from 50 rms around the world. We would like to give a special thank you to Long & Foster, the country’s largest independent real estate brokerage, for being a gracious host city Af liate.
As always, we hope you nd this year’s conference compelling. We curated our programming with a view to providing insights that will help you grow your business. Our hope is that each of you can take away some best practices over these two days that enable you to leverage your relationship with Christie’s International Real Estate and Christie’s.
In addition to hearing proven success strategies from network executives and your Af liate peers, some highlights of the two-day curriculum include David Scott, acclaimed interior designer and author of “Outside the Box,” and Ryan Estis, a performance coach known for his dynamic presentations “Rockstar Selling” and “Unleashing Your Inner Superhero.”
We will also hear from Christie’s luxury group specialists from art, wine, watches, handbags, and jewelry.
There will also be a tasting of some of the world’s premier wines with Christie’s Wine — inclusive of wine giveaways — and cocktails on the rooftop of the legendary Hay-Adams Hotel, hosted by Long & Foster.
At the end of the conference, you will be designated a “Christie’s International Real Estate Luxury Specialist” by Christie’s Education. This has been used by agents as a powerful tool to set themselves apart from their competition.
Don’t forget to utilize the conference App. Use this App to strengthen your network connections and reach out to your fellow attendees in real time during the conference. Keep track of the agenda, information on speakers, and other logistics within the App and watch for noti cations with reminders or new developments throughout the conference.
The conference also happens to occur just before the opening of the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture on the National Mall, scheduled for the September 23-25 weekend. The museum’s designer, world-renowned architect David Adjaye, spoke at our recent Owners Conference in Dublin. We hope you can check that out before leaving the Washington, D.C., area.
We trust you will enjoy your visit to Washington, D.C., and look forward to speaking with you in the days ahead.
Best Regards,
Dan Conn
