Medical Tourism Association (MTA), and the Dominican Health Tourism Association (ADTS), launched the second edition of the “Dominican Republic Health and Wellness Tourism Guide” with the objective of providing information of the main players in the value chain of medical tourism and certify the country as a health destination.
Alejandro Cambiaso, president of the ADTS, informed that the sample is designed to educate international patients about the process of receiving health care in the country, from the moment they investigate the destination, options of health centers certified that have certified international departments, as well as hotels and cultural, budgetary and more frequent concerns of health tourists.
“The guide has great international exposure and visibility, as well as being an ideal tool to help international patients in the process of choosing a reliable healthcare provider,” he added.
