I am pleased and excited to announce my attendance to Christies first-ever Top Agents Conference, an extraordinary two-day networking and educational program reserved for the most successful sales associates across the network.
As part of this conference, agents will be designated a “Certified Christie’s International Real Sales Associate” by Christie’s Education.
This will be a powerful tool for agents to distinguish themselves and demonstrate their expertise in their local marketplace.
Attendees will be among fewer than 100 agents worldwide to carry this esteemed designation in 2014.
Highlights of the conference include:
· Spotlight on Luxury Real Estate An expert on how to meet the demands of the luxury consumer, Milton Pedraza, CEO of The Luxury Institute, will share his unique perspective on trends impacting the global luxury real estate market. He will reveal what affluent individuals are looking for in a property purchase, how their priorities have shifted, and how you can best service the real estate needs of top-tier clients.
· The Art of Negotiation Elegant negotiation, particularly when dealing with luxury consumers, is an art. Leaders from The Gap Partnership, a world-class negotiation firm with more than 350 corporate clients, will share secrets to help you negotiate with poise and successfully capture the “art of the deal.” In addition, Andrew Berman, Professor of Law, Director for the Center for Real Estate Studies at New York Law School, one of the leading academic research centers devoted to the study of both the private practice and public regulation of real estate, will provide a unique perspective on strategies and best practices for negotiations in the luxury real estate world.
· Reaching the New International Luxury Buyer The populations of high- and ultra-high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) are exploding worldwide, especially in the emerging markets of Russia, India, and China. Paul Hewitt, Managing Director of Growth Markets for Christie’s, will examine the priorities of these affluent buyers and the best approaches for connecting with HNWIs from these non-traditional geographies.
· Breakout Session: Being a “Christie’s” Agent Jointly led by a Christie’s International Real Estate Senior Vice President and several top brokers from the network, this interactive breakout session will explore ways to best benefit from your new “Certified Christie’s International Real Estate Sales Associate” designation. Topics will include: keeping in touch with your clients, utilizing Christie’s events, and best practices for showing a property.
This exciting event will take place at The Phoenician Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona, on February 6-7, 2014, a luxury resort with state-of-the-art amenities for leisurely networking and relaxation following the business sessions
