1. What is your role with Kentwood Real Estate?
I am the Social Media Manager for Kentwood.
2. How long have you lived in Denver?
I moved to Denver in January from Beaver Creek. You get the best of both world’s here in Denver!
3. What do you love most about Denver?
Denver has it all: we are a “foodie” city, we love our breweries, biking is a way of life, there is a park around (almost) every corner, and world class skiing is a hop, skip, and a jump away. Oh, and we get sunshine 300 days a year here, which may have something to do with all of the happy people!
4. Favorite weekend activity?
In the Winter months, skiing. Always.
The summer months here are amazing and you can really find any activity to fit your lifestyle: hiking, biking, fishing, rock climbing, music at Red Rocks (a venue with some of the best views), just to name a few. We have a lot of parks here in Denver, no matter where you live, you will find one. Play a game of volleyball at Washington Park, have a picnic at Cheesman Park, or head South and take a sailing lesson at Cherry Creek Reservoir.
5. A few of my favorite things:
At the moment, I am in love with Moontower Tacos in the Capitol Hill neighborhood, Cheesman Park, Renegade Brewery, and football season, GO BRONCOS!
6. Tips for those traveling to Denver.
1. Visit the Denver Art Museum
2. Tour the city by bike! Rent a Denver B-Cycle and follow the Cherry Creek bike path.
3. In the summer months, Red Rocks is a must. Whether it’s music you seek or a beautiful hike, Red Rocks has it all. Head to the quaint little town of Morrison and enjoy lunch on the patio at Tony Rigatoni’s Italian Kitchen!
4. Dinner in Larimer Square. Anywhere. They’re all good!
5. Walk the 16th Street Mall – play the piano, grab a carriage ride, and enjoy food, shopping, and the nightlife.
6. We have an extensive light rail system here.
“Whether you’re heading downtown for work or school, shopping or dining in LoDo, hitting the ball game, or enjoying a night on the town, RTD light rail is going your way.” ~ RTD
7. What advice do you have for someone relocating to Denver?
First of all, welcome to Denver! Do your research. What type of neighborhood do you want to live in? We have a wonderful neighborhood section complete with local events, statistics, and local neighborhood listings. Take a day and drive the neighborhoods and stop in and say hi to the local business folks.
Our agents are the most knowledgeable in the city and it shows. They are actively involved in the community and are always willing to lend a helping hand, whether it is where the hot spots are to eat this week or what’s new on the market. We have offices located in three prime locations: Downtown, Cherry Creek shopping district, and in the Denver Technical Center.
8. What is most appealing to locals?
The most appealing is simple… the outdoors! Whether you play in the mountains or simply love the view, there is something for everybody here.
